# Dashboard Overview Your **Dashboard** is the first thing you see when you log in to ActuaryPOS Hybrid Solution. It gives you a snapshot of how your business is doing — right now, today, and over time. --- ## What You'll Learn - What each section of the Dashboard shows - How to read your sales and purchase numbers - How to use stock alerts - How to check payment dues - How to customise your Dashboard view --- ## Dashboard Sections Explained ### Sales Summary At the top of your Dashboard, you'll see your sales totals: | Card | What It Shows | |---|---| | **Total Sales** | The total value of all sales in the selected time period | | **Total Purchase** | The total value of all purchases | | **Invoice Due** | Money your customers still owe you | | **Purchase Due** | Money you still owe your suppliers | 📸 *[Screenshot: The four summary cards at the top of the Dashboard]* > 💡 **Tip:** Click on any card to jump straight to the detailed report for that category. --- ### Sales & Purchase Chart Below the summary cards, you'll see a visual chart showing: - **Sales trend** over time (blue line or bars) - **Purchase trend** over time (red line or bars) You can change the time range using the date picker. 📸 *[Screenshot: The sales and purchase trend chart]* --- ### Stock Alerts This section shows products that are **running low**. When a product's quantity falls below its reorder level, it appears here as a warning. - **Product Name** — The item that's running low - **Current Stock** — How many you have left - **Reorder Level** — The minimum you set for this product 📸 *[Screenshot: The Stock Alerts section with low-stock items listed]* > ⚠️ **Important:** Keep an eye on this section daily so you never run out of your best-selling items. --- ### Payment Due (Receivable) This section lists customers who owe you money: - **Customer Name** — Who owes you - **Invoice Number** — Which sale is unpaid - **Amount Due** — How much they owe - **Due Date** — When the payment is expected 📸 *[Screenshot: The payment due table showing outstanding customer invoices]* --- ### Payment Due (Payable) This section shows your outstanding payments to suppliers: - **Supplier Name** — Who you owe money to - **Purchase Reference** — Which purchase is unpaid - **Amount Due** — How much you owe - **Due Date** — When you need to pay 📸 *[Screenshot: The supplier payment due table]* --- ## How to Change the Dashboard Date Range 1. Look at the top of the Dashboard for the **date range selector**. 2. Click on it and choose a preset range: - **Today** — See just today's numbers - **This Week** — Current week summary - **This Month** — Current month - **This Financial Year** — Full year overview - **Custom Range** — Pick your own start and end dates 3. Go to **Settings → Business Settings**. 2. Click the **Dashboard** tab. 3. Choose which sections to show or hide. 4. Set the default date range for the Dashboard. 5. Also make sure you've recorded at least one sale or purchase. **Q: Can different users see different Dashboards?** A: The Dashboard shows data based on your access permissions. If you can only see your own sales, you'll only see your numbers. Administrators see everything. **Q: How often does the Dashboard update?** A: The numbers update every time you load the page. For real-time updates, refresh your browser. --- ## Tips & Best Practices - 📌 Check your Dashboard first thing every morning to stay on top of your business - 📌 Review the **Stock Alerts** section daily to avoid stockouts - 📌 Follow up on overdue payments shown in the **Payment Due** sections - 📌 Use the **This Month** view at month-end for a quick performance check
